Never mind goal-line technology, they need byline technology in the AFC Champions League.

Egypt's Al Ahly conceded one of the more peculiar penalties you're ever likely to see when they took on Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia. Al Ahli defender Salmin Khamis was shepherding the ball out of play when he decided that the ball had gone over the line and picked it up to hand to his goalkeeper. The linesman clearly didn't agree with gun-jumping Khamis as he flagged for a handball inside the box. Al Ahli were right to be furious as, to our eyes, it looked like the ball had indeed gone out of play. Luckily, justice was served as the hosts couldn't capitalise on the free spot-kick as Brazilian midfielder Carlos Eduardo fired his shot against the post and all was right with the world again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=40&v=EjKcUJol02A
