Video: World’s worst thief gets caught stealing tablet during live post-match report

If you are going to commit a crime, it might be an idea not to do it on live television.

An Argentinian football might lay claim to the title of "World's worst thief". The Indipendiente supporter appeared to get caught stealing an expensive tablet in the background of a Fox Sports reporter's piece to camera.

After Independiente's 1-1 draw with Boca Juniors on Sunday night, the man wandered into the press room and sneakily lifted a tablet from a desk before stowing it away in his jacket. He then did his least inconspicuous walk ever as he slowly exited the room.

Fans who are members of the club are allowed into press conferences after the game. After a woeful effort at making sure the coast was clear, the man took the tablet without knowing  that Fox Sports were doing a live broadcast literally right in front of him.
