Mario Balotelli gets an awful lot of grief.
All away fans, most home supporters and a hell of a lot of pundits think that he's some kind of lackadaisical demon sent to destroy football. But not the Mario superfans here at SportsJOE! We bloody love him. That's why we (United fans included) absolutely loved his reaction to the abuse hurled at him from the travelling fans at Anfield yesterday. Balotelli came on as a substitute in the Reds 2-1 defeat to Louis van Gaal's United and, after the game, took a cheeky photograph of who, after much stadium research, we are led to believe are the away supporters. The impromptu snapping was followed up with a not-so-subtle middle finger which we're leaving him right off with.
