There are certain things in football that are just a joy to watch.
Perfectly executed look-away passes, a long range screamer going in off the underside of the crossbar and, of course, the last-ditch tackle.
Ciaran Clark pulled off one of these bad boys in the second half of Ireland's Good Friday friendly against Switzerland in the Aviva Stadium.
The Swiss launched a counter attack by picking the ball up from Shane Duffy's poor clearance which was easily intercepted in midfield. Duffy then found himself on the wrong side of Embolo who was played into the box by a perfectly weighted through-ball from Rodriguez.
However, Clark read the move and managed to get across and put his boot to the ball before Embolo could get the shot off.
