Jaysus, there's been some change to Villa press conferences from the Paul Lambert days.
Tim Sherwood was full of banter again this afternoon ahead of Aston Villa's FA Cup semi final with Liverpool and the media got to go through the full spectrum of football talk with the manager as they dissected everything from Twix bars to six-year-old hopefuls to gilets.
The Villa boss wrote a sweet letter in reply to a young fan who applied for the job when it became available after Lambert's departure and the six-year-old named Charlie Pye was invited to Villa Park for a full tour of the place in case he's needed if Sherwood fails.
The former Tottenham gaffer was delighted with the win bonus he received for beating his old club on Saturday, a pack of chocolate bars, but he did have some crucial words of advice for the Villa boss wannabe: stop throwing your gilet. It is trademarked after all.
Not that there's much danger of any other manager stealing it.
