Whoever looks after the national anthems at Washington's FedEx Field may need to look for another line of work because he seemingly has no idea that El Salvador is a completely different country than Kazakhstan.
As the El Salvador players lined up before their friendly against Argentina, they were left confounded as the Kazakhstan national anthem rang out from the stadium speakers.
Hands gradually fell from hearts and heads quickly began turning as the perplexed lads looked for who to blame.
We're not sure if the phrase "epic fail" is still cool but it most certainly applies to this gargantuan screw-up.
