You've just won the biggest race of your life, so of course you expect to have your mouth slagged off.
Back in 2009 National Hunt jockey Liam Treadwell had just partnered 100-1 shot Mon Mome to become the biggest outsider to win the Grand National in 42 years when he was interviewed by Clare Balding, then of the BBC.
Not convinced the 23 year old was sufficiently pleased with his achievement she asked him to smile saying, “Let’s see your teeth".
Treadwell demured before eventually showing a mouthful of teeth that belied a life spent engaged in one of the most dangerous sports in the world.
"He hasn't got the best teeth in the world, but you can afford to go and get them done now if you like.”
