This is the goal that was voted the pick of the bunch for the year at the J. League Awards earlier this week. The downright perfect volley came from the right boot of Kashima Antlers defender Daigo Naishi in August. Nishi was making an edge of the box run in the 70th minute when the ball arrived at him from a corner and he walloped it like it owed him money.
