There is a reason why nobody laughed at Ben-Hatira's unusual goal celebration at the weekend, and it's a bloody good one.
The Bundesliga player celebrated his goal to put Hertha Berlin 1-0 up against Schalke in a rather odd manner. After finding the net with a fine finish, the Tunisian midfielder immediately ran over to the sidelines to grab a Spiderman mask, before putting it on his face.
This was a nod to an 8-year-old Berlin fan who is battling cancer. Ben-Hatira has been visiting Jannik in hospital for a few months. He has posted photos of himself and the little boy wearing superhero masks together on social media and now he has turned it into a goal celebration.
Ben-Hatira was more than happy to take the yellow card for the celebration. What a hero.
