The Havnar Bóltfelag attacker's 61st minute strike was enough to secure a priceless victory for the Faroes in Athens on Friday night and, in doing so, lump the pressure on Greece manager, Claudio Ranieri, who is still yet to win with the Greeks.
Faroe Islands went through their entire World Cup qualification process without winning, accumulating just one point throughout the whole group so any win is sweet enough, never mind an away one against the former European champions.
And, naturally, there was a real party atmosphere in the changing rooms afterwards. The country's official Facebook account posted this celebration video.
