The red half of Merseyside might be gearing up for the tenth anniversary of their memorable Champions League final victory over AC Milan, but former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez had reason to reminisce about that famous night in Istanbul when his Napoli side took on Milan last night.
And, mirroring Liverpool's remarkable comeback from 3-0 down in Turkey, Benitez watched Napoli rip the hearts out of the Rossoneri with three goals in six second-half minutes to win 3-0.
The were almost 70 minutes on the clock when Marik Hamsik opened the scoring, before a goal from Gonzalo Higuain and then Manolo Gabbiadini completed the scoring in the 76th.
