The term pissing into the wind was never as clear as it was in England mid-week when a poor defender scored an own goal... from 40 yards out... after clearing the ball... forward. Poor Kamarl Duncan learned the full value of keeping the ball on the deck when his hoof up field was blown back over his head, over everyone else's heads, and over the 'keeper into the net. Romford were held 1-1 by Thurrock in the Isthmian League Division One North (yeah, that one) and the equaliser was an absolute beauty. Afterwards, the Thurrock manager said: "Romford's goal was something you can only describe after seeing." Makes a refreshing change form those things you describe without seeing.
