Who doesn't want to be Sean Dyche when they grow up?
The Burnley manager didn't need the Sky Sports platform Jose Mourinho was allowed to air his grievances on for hours this weekend to put his own side of the story across.
In a video on the club's YouTube channel, Dyche sat down and dissected all the key incidents at Stamford Bridge with complete and utter dignity and logic.
The Clarets boss went through every issue brought up from the draw with Chelsea and he calmly offered his viewpoint in the interest of balance which the media didn't seem too keen on in the last few days.
On that Ashley Barnes coming-together with Matic which provoked the Blues midfielder's red card, Dyche reminded that the Burnley player was in possession and passing the ball as the contact was made. He asked, "please, please look at the reaction of the expert footballers of Chelsea... of Jose Mourinho... of a crowd of circa 15,000 on that touchline... no-one reacts in live speed."
The Burnley manager then went on to point out an incident involving Diego Costa which saw the Spanish international appear to kick out in added time before Chelsea failed to give the ball back to the visitors after they had thrown it out to allow treatment for a player. Dyche rations that those events must have been an "oversight".
This is a truly class interview.
