Wayne Rooney rolled back the years with a typically Rooney goal against Ipswich on Wednesday night.

The Manchester United captain a ball over the top dead before outmuscling a centre-half and tucking the ball home under Bartosz Białkowski. It is just the Capital One Cup and United are always going to be expected to beat Ipswich but it must have been nice for the striker to get his first league cup goal in five years and prove to United fans that it's not all about Anthony Martial.
