So here's what would've had to happen for Joleon Lescott's pocket to send that tweet whilst he was driving.

The one that he still hasn't bothered deleting. https://twitter.com/JoleonLescott/status/698916338148995072 According to him, his tweet straight after the 6-0 thumping by Liverpool was sent accidentally by his pocket. And he's still sticking with that story. Stopping short of saying he's never seen the picture before. Lescott told Henry Winter: "I don’t own that car. I wouldn’t tweet that picture. A young player, a friend of mine, said: ‘I’m thinking of getting this car, what do you think?’ ‘Yes,’ I said, ‘it’s a nice car but be careful because the insurance might be high.'" So, if we were to believe him that he didn't mean to send it in response to the jeers and criticism at Villa Park, here's how it went down.
  • Lescott's pocket unlocks his phone.
  • Lescott's pocket opens the Twitter app.
  • Lescott's pocket clicks on 'compose new tweet'.
  • Lescott's pocket goes to attach a photo.
  • Lescott's pocket chooses from the WhatsApp album (presumably) where said photo was.
  • Lescott's pocket clicks 'done' when the Twitter app prompts him to edit the photo.
  • Lescott's pocket tweets.
