Robbie Keane and Steven Gerrard put in performances for LA Galaxy on Sunday night that the former Liverpool manager would have had in mind when he brought the Irish striker to Anfield in 2008. Galaxy had gone three MLS games without a goal before Bruce Arena's side hosted FC Dallas at the weekend and both Premier League legends got on the scoresheet. Robbie Keane put Galaxy 2-0 up when he linked up with Giovani dos Santos on the fifteen-minute mark before bending the ball past Jesse Gonzalez in the Dallas goal. Gerrard, meanwhile, showed that he would have made a decent poacher when he reacted first to a breaking ball in the box to belt the ball into the roof of the net in what was the former Reds captain's second goal since signing in the summer.
