Ireland's encounter with England, this afternoon, was the most highly anticipated friendly match since Lionel Messi and Argentina came to Dublin in 2010.
Unfortunately, the match failed to fire and ended in a drab 0-0 draw.
Paul Scholes, on duty for ITV, was none too impressed.
First up, he had some less than kind words for Phil Jones. He declared, ''When he first came to Manchester United he was a right back, he played right back all the time. He has got strength and power and he can get up and down the pitch. I just think at centre half he is not quite clever enough to do it.'
In assessing the match, Scholes, in typically blunt fashion, and much like his tackling, did not hold back in offering his opinion.
