Lionel Messi again showed he is getting back to his best with a stunning performance as Barcelona narrowed the gap to La Liga leaders Real Madrid to a single point.
The Argentine superstar scored for the sixth game in a row and created four more as Barca beat Athletic Bilbao 5-2 last night. Messi opened the scoring with a deflected free-kick before setting up Luis Suarez for the second.
Messi then saw his effort turned in by Athletic defender Oscar de Marcos and also created Barcelona's fourth for Neymar.
The 27-year-old saved the best for last though, providing this delicious pass for Sergio Busquets to set up a Pedro tap-in.
