Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov has been receiving plaudits for an astonishing piece of sportsmanship during his sides League One clash with Bury.
The match looked destined to end up scoreless until an 89th-minute injury prompted Bury to hoof the ball out of play.
Doncaster’s Harry Forrester was given the task of knocking the ball back to the keeper from the resulting throw in. However, he struck it a little bit too cleanly and it ended up sailing over the keeper and into the Bury net.

After a lot of booing from the fans and anger from Bury, Dickov ordered his players to ensure that justice be carried out. So he told his players to sit back and allow Bury to eqalise in injury time.
