After the death of Johan Cruyff, we really should cherish the football gods we have left.
The Dutchman was considered in the same bracket as Diego Maradona, Pele... or maybe even Lionel Messi at this stage. But we doubt that the ex-Ajax and Barcelona man was ever pelted with stones by opposition fans when going to take a corner. The Argentinian genius shared an incredible 30-minute highlight video on his personal Facebook page Wednesday afternoon, and it is well worth your time. From his young days in Argentina, to the glory days with Napoli and the international side, it is an absolutely fantastic watch. But by far our favourite clip is about 20 seconds in when, as he approaches to take a corner for Argentina, he is pelted with various objects but manages to control one of them.
