Or at least, look at the man he is today. Luis Suarez's revamped image is the most impressive makeover since Gary Doherty reinvented himself as a centre half. The Barcelona striker was won worldwide adulation for his part in the planet's deadliest attack - possibly ever. He's best buds with Neymar and Messi - they even eat dinner together and celebrate each other's goals. And, since moving to Spain, his football is doing all the talking. The days he dabbled in alleged racism and cannibalism are far behind him. The Uruguayan hit a young fan with a football before Barcelona's 4-0 destruction of Eibar on Sunday but, true to his likable new persona, Suarez ran to make sure the little fella was okay and he stripped off his training top to give to the tear-filled young boy.
