We've all played in worse. Just imagine the GAA referees up and down the country turning their nose up at the decision to call tonight's clash between Accrington Stanley and Bury off because of a "drop of rain." In fairness, the pitch was in a pretty dire state covered in water and the referee - who inspected the Store First Stadium with a brolly and a stamping session - had no other option but to cancel it. He had to submit a postponement form first though and, when he was asked to highlight which areas of the pitch were affected, his brilliant art work told the story.This is the actual form submitted to the League stating the reason for the postponement @BBCLancashire pic.twitter.com/BziMjgYlxh

There was one part of the pitch that was so bad though that the ref needn't have bothered walking anywhere near it.
