Dublin youngster Ciaran Duffy has already become something of a celebrity on these shores but he is now attempting to conquer Europe, and the early signs are promising.
The 12-year-old football freestyler known as Mini Messi won a coveted place on Superkids, a popular German talent show for children aged from four to 14.
It's one thing recording your own videos but performing under the glare of live television cameras is another matter entirely, and Duffy didn't disappoint, wowing both the judges and the studio audience.
The film crew also visited the Duffy family in Ireland to record footage of Ciaran at home, and father Michael was delighted with the whole experience.
"It was an amazing experience for Ciarán," Michael said. "The stage was out of this world and everyone was great there. The talents on the show were just incredible.
"It’s great for him to be chosen out of all the kids in the world in around that age group to be part of such a massive production."
