While we're all for punishing players who touch the referee, we think that Premier League referees have it a little bit easier than officials in Peru who have to put up with nonsense like this. When Union Perene took on Pichanaki in the Copa Peru this week, the Union stopper was having absolutely none of it when shown a yellow card by the referee. https://youtu.be/E3YCCAaYCKI The referee needed lengthy treatment after the attack and the goalkeeper was unsurprisingly sent off instantly. Disgusting to watch.
