What a way to open the scoring.
Mexico claimed the CONCACAF Gold Cup for a record seventh time on Sunday by scoring a dominant 3-1 victory over Jamaica at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field. Andres Guardado's opener was easily the pick of the goals. The Mexico captain rocketed home a volley after some brilliant link up play for his teammates. A magnificently weight diagonal ball from the edge of the centre circle was followed up by an even better cross that fell beautifully for Guardado.
