What's worse: being humiliated in front of the MLS team you coach by a girl everyone thinks is just a 13-year-old first-timer; or being called a former USA striker when you have just one cap?
Regardless, New York Cosmos assistant, Alecko Eskandarian, got taught a cruel lesson in humility when he was firmly put in his place for this April Fool's prank.
The club brought along a local school for a bout of ping pong but planted nationally ranked Estee Alkerman amongst them and set the coach up for a fall.
Alkerman played left-handed originally and looked pretty rubbish so the bashful Eskandarian was pretty confident heading into his tie with her. Until she unloaded.
This is a very elaborate prank for a YouTube channel. It's very American, you might say.
