FIFA 15 meets All Priests Over 75's Football Challenge Match.
Against Rugged Island.
We're all legends of EA Sports' FIFA. The rare times we do lose, the game is just shit.
But what if you ditched your control pad and tried to control yourself in an actual real-life game.
Norwegian show, Golden Goal, tried it out with this virtual reality-meets reality game that turned into a bit of a farce. A hilarious farce.
The players wore video glasses that let them see only a bird's eye view of what was happening. So they had to control themselves by looking at themselves, from above.
And the results were brilliant.
The players were struggling with their depth perception and any movement of the ball was catching them by surprise.
The guys who eventually did get to grips with it, didn't really get to grips with it.
And every kick had to be carefully executed (the kicks that were successful, that was).
But the whole thing just wasn't natural. At all.
Check out their attempts.
