Five seconds. Five seconds of play. That's how long Matt McClure lasted.
The Wycombe Wanderers man was introduced during his side's 2-1 victory away to Tranmere last night but he was no sooner brought onto the field than he was walking back down the tunnel.
McClure was sprang from the bench in the 68th minute but he didn't make it past the 69th as the referee brandished him with a red card for leading with the arm during a high ball.
A free kick punted down the field by the goalkeeper was the only piece of play that he managed to witness as he jumped for the high ball and heard the referee's whistle call a stop to the play, and his game.
And some of the reaction as it happened was brilliant.
One live blog reported that he was sent off for fighting. Wycombe themselves finding their tactical predictions quickly going out the window.
