This is what football is all about.

This is truly the best thing about the game. This is the best thing about sport. About people, even. 10-year-old Adam Morrison loves football. He doesn't like crowds, he doesn't like loud social situations, but by God he loves football. Not long ago, his friend Harry from Derry invited Adam to train with him at Oxford United. The local club then asked if he'd like to watch their Foyle Cup games at the city's biggest and most prestigious summer tournament. So young Morrison went along, kitted out in his jersey of course, but he had no idea what was about to happen next. Adam1 It turns out the Oxford Colts coaches, Philip Devlin and Noel Crampsey, had arranged with the other teams to let Adam start the match to see if he could bag himself a goal. And, in the most touching and beautiful demonstration of pure sportsmanship and humanity, the players from East Donegal, Illistrin and Killea set it up for the most perfect day for Adam Morrison. These are 10-year-old boys who showed sheer and utter class. The defenders lose possession. Adam6 Morrison is through. Adam7 He beats the 'keeper. Adam8 The opposition can't believe it. Adam9 It wasn't his only goal. Adam4 And how he enjoyed it. Adam3 As did his team mates. Adam2 What a touching story. Adam5 It was all captured wonderfully by Adam's proud dad Kevin of Event Images & Video. In a world with so much madness and sorrow, in a sport so corrupt infested with plenty of problems, this is a real thing of beauty. This is perfect.
