It looks like you have to literally take a life to be sent off in China.
The increased stictness on high boots in the Premier League don't seem to have reached the Chinese Super League as Demba Ba found this weekend. The former Newcastle and Chelsea striker almost took his opponents head off in the 2-2 draw between new side Shanghai Shenhua and Guangzhou Evergrande. Ba only received a booking for his Anderson Silva-esque front kick which will have West Ham's Adrian feeling massively aggrieved for his sending off against Leicester on Saturday.
