Those not following the Republic of Ireland's progress might not be as up to date with the fact that Darren Randolph is the greatest goalkeeper on the planet. Most of us know. Not everyone does. Slaven Bilic found out anyway what he has lying around the West Ham squad when Ireland's number one sprang to keep Liverpool at bay three times in a row and ensure a dour stalemate at Anfield for the FA Cup fourth round. The Bray man produced a quickfire triple stop late in the 0-0 on Saturday evening but, admittedly, two of those efforts came from Christian Benteke. It doesn't take away from the feat though of Randolph who spread himself three times to keep the Reds at bay with Joe Allen following up in between on the run.Explore more on these topics:
