Daniel Sturridge - remember him?
You know, the lad who has scored 40 goals in 67 appearances for Liverpool? Second top scorer in the Premier League two seasons ago?
Well, Liverpool fans haven't forgotten about him, but after pinning their hopes on the England forward last season following the departure of Luis Suarez only to see Sturridge's campaign blighted by injuries, they have understandably lowered their expectations for the new season.
However, Sturridge has been rehabbing in the US following hip surgery in May and yesterday posted a video of himself training - along with the statement 'Feeling like I'm back' - that will allow Reds supporters to dream of a Sturridge-Benteke-Firmino forward line that could terrify Premier League defences.
