Cesc Fabregas' red-hot form might have come off the boil a bit since the turn of the year but his sense of humour is still top notch.
The Chelsea midfielder made his translator look an awful eejit as he took questions from the French press ahead of the home leg of Chelsea's round-of-16 tie with PSG.
When one of the reporters threw a lengthy question at the Spaniard, a translator repeated the question in English for Cesc.
But the ol' rogue turned to the translator with his best Gerard Depardieu and said "Je parle Francais, mon ami," (I speak French, my friend).
As the crowd of journalists giggled, the reporter must have felt a right old redundancy before Fabregas laughed and assured him he needed help with the question after all.
All along, we've been going to nightclubs for fun when it turns out all the craic is to be had at press conferences. Lesson learned.
