VIDEO: Brazilian footballer Anderson Talisca gets knocked-out while scoring fine header

He may not even remember scoring for his country after this collision.

South American football is known for little bit rough and tumble amid all the crazy skill, but even this is taking things a little too far. Brazil's U23's were taking on Paraguay in a friendly last night with a number of up and coming stars on the field. One such player is Benfica's  Anderson Talisca,who is tipped for a very bright future in canary yellow. He had been lively all night for the home side and sensed an opportunity to grab a goal when he rose to meet a cross in the 65th minute. Unfortunately he was met with a shuddering challenge at the same time as he manged to get his head on the ball, and was left in a crumpled mess afterwards. His team-mates rushed to his aid with serious distress on their faces. He was stretchered off with what's understood to be a head injury and taken to hospital but was later released from and re-joined the squad.
