Video: Boring James Milner invites us into his boring Christmas and it is bloody brilliant

James Milner just got a hell of a lot more likable.

The Manchester City midfielder/forward/full back has been impressing this season for Manuel Pellegrini and, although he might not be known to us for his banter and craic, he can certainly take the piss out of himself. The English international stars in day 23 of Manchester City's advent calendar YouTube videos and he plays up to the boring persona surrounding him with a witty insight into his ideal Christmas. Milner, who has had a parody Twitter account mocking his post-match interviews (@BoringMilner), brings Les Chapman into his plain home where he makes it clear that he doesn't like much colours.  He's miffed when he opens up his first present to discover there are different brands of tea bags than Yorkshire Tea and he goes on to have a cracking day when he gets his desired dumpling mold, shovel and pencil sharpener from relatives who know him too well. There's even a card there from the "hoot" that is Gaz Barry.  Fair play, James.
