Champions League final in 2013, rock bottom of the league in 2015. It has been some plummet for Borussia Dortmund.
A 1-0 defeat at home to Augsburg, last night, left Dortmund rock bottom of the Bundesliga. Supporters at Signal Iduna Park began the evening in rousing voice as thety chanted 'You'll Never Walk Alone' in support of their team.
However, Jurgen Klopp's team struggled to break down their opponents and they fell to a Raul Bobadilla goal, early in the second-half.
The Dortmund faithful let rip at the final whistle and it needed interventions by Mats Hummels and goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller, who scaled a fence at one stage, to sate them.
Hummels later commented, 'If one is in this position after 19 games then it would be unacceptable not to have understanding for the fans' reactions.'
