We almost forgot all about the round ball after today's Six Nations heroics so it was just as well we had something this spectacular to reel us right back in.

Gerard Gumbau, take a bow. The Barcelona B player has already stuck his neck in for a goal of the year award with this devilish cracker today. The Catalan side might well have lost 3-1 at Alcorcon and still sit second from bottom in the Spanish second tier but Gumbau lit the place up when he turned a corner into the net in the most audacious of ways.
