When you score a Panenka, you're praised as a genius. When you miss, dismissed as a fool.
But the technique is one in the same which leads us to believe that the only thing separating good Panenkas from atrocious ones is a healthy slice of luck.
Poor ol' Fernando Tissone didn't have so much as a crumb of luck when he tried to be Billy Big Bollocks yesterday.
In the penalty shootout of a friendly game with San Lorenzo, the Malaga tried the cheeky dink which he'd hoped would outfox the 20-year-old goalkeeper between the sticks.
The stopper stood firm and didn't even bother using his hands to make the save, making Tissone's effort look all the more miserable and Malaga went on to lose.
Low and hard next time Fernando, eh?
