Arsenal ruthlessly progressed into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup yesterday with a 2-0 win over Championship high-flyers Middlesbrough. The holders never looked in trouble, and once Olivier Giroud opened the scoring after 27 minutes, there would be no way baack.
The Frenchman's second goal, a fine volley finish, got more attention post game but the opener was even arguably more special, as every Arsenal player on the pitch had a hand in it.
