UEFA have approved the use of goal-line technology for the Euro 2016 tournament.
The UEFA Executive Committee on Thursday held its first meeting of the year at the House of European Football in Nyon and unanimously decided to back the use of goal-line technology in upcoming competitions.
The decision comes into effect for this summer's finals in France and will also be put in place for the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League - 11 years too late, says Jose Mourinho.

A goal-line technology provider has not be announced yet but the GoalControl system was used in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
UEFA did confirm that additional assistant referees will remain in place beside the goals to "monitor all activity in and around the penalty area."
At Euro 2012, Ukraine were denied a goal during their 1-0 loss to England despite the ball crossing the line.
