Twitter reaction to Fernando Torres officially leaving Chelsea

The Spaniard cost Chelsea £50 million in January 2011 and now will leave on a free transfer.

Fernando Torres will officially leave Chelsea, joining AC Milan on January 5th after almost four years with the London club. Torres scored 45 goals in 176 games, winning an FA Cup, Europa League and Champions League, but failing to capture the form that saw him terrorise Premier League defences with Liverpool between 2007 and 2011. The news of Torres' permanent deal with the Serie A club came as a shock. It had appeared Milan wanted rid of the player, with a move to Torres' first club Atletico Madrid strongly mooted until the deal was announced this evening. It appears there's still a chance Torres will return to the Spanish capital, possibly on a loan move from Milan in January. Here's how twitter reacted:
