The inclusion of the PSG defender has caused a bit of a kerfuffle

At the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Zurich, the PSG man was selected along with Sergio Ramos, Thiago Silva and Phillip Lahm in a back four.
Despite being an absolute calamity pretty much every time he gets near a pitch, 50,000 of the world's professional footballers have decided he is among the best players on the planet.
