You have to admire Peter Crouch''s Twitter game. Not only if he happy to share epic pictures of him standing beside very very small jockeys but he also has a very good sense of humour of where his career is at right now. To be fair the giant striker has had a decent stint with some of the better than average Premier League sides, and hasn't done too badly for a man when asked what he would have been if it wasn't for football responded, 'a virgin'. So with Manchester City under FFP guidelines and needing to have 8 English players in their squad next season to comply with home-grown rules, it makes sense they would be looking to try and capture a proven player from the Premier League. According to today's Daily Express City were interested in signing Crouch as a English replacement for the soon to be departing Frank Lampard. Unfortunately it seems that fans will have to keep their famous 'disco-pants' tune to themselves for little while longer.
