Alan Shearer's first foray into the world of Twitter has been a surprisingly fruitful one.
The Newcastle legend is not known for being a laugh riot but he did get a chuckle out of us as he warned off any would-be trolls.

The Match of the Day pundit was referencing the fact that Newcastle haven't won a single game since the airing of this advert in which he gives away Premier League tickets, leading them to the bottom of the form table. https://youtu.be/hWT6hxwjoV8 The Shearer curse also led to this hilariously simple bit of vining from a Newcastle fan. It's all just too much banter for us.
