On Monday afternoon in his press conference, Stephen Kenny mentioned Troy Parrott as one of the talented young Irish players he is looking forward to working with over the next few years.
Judging by this goal, the new Republic of Ireland Under-21 manager, and from 2020 the senior team coach, could be seeing a lot of Parrott in a green jersey.
Parrott scored with a stunning effort in Tottenham's Uefa Youth League game against Inter Milan on Wednesday.
The Dubliner is only 16, but it already looks like he has the potential to be a big player for club and country.
Parrott collected the ball outside the Inter penalty area, took two touches on his left foot before curling an unstoppable shot into the top corner with his right foot.

Tottenham went on to lose 4-2 to the Italian side, who were captained by Ryan Nolan, a 19-year-old central defender from Clare.
As Kenny said on Monday, there are plenty of talented young Irish players.
Hopefully, Nolan and Parrott continue their progress and play a big part in the Ireland setup over the next few years.
