This morning has seen a statement from Sterling's agent, Aidy Ward, which insists that the reports have been 'blown out of proportion'. Wait, no, it actually says 'somewhat blown out of proportion', and that 'Raheem and his representatives have a meeting scheduled with Liverpool later this week, and we will take proceedings from there'. That certainly puts an end to the speculation then. Manchester City would appear to be leading the chase for the 20-year-old, but that might not be the only bit of business between the clubs this summer.
