Liverpool are on the countdown to the exit of Steven Gerrard and are looking across Europe to sign his replacement now that Fabian Delph has committed his future to Aston Villa. Everton are interested and with his contract running out in June they are set to swoop in to take him off the hands of Manchester United and Villa, who are keen to keep him long term, according to the Liverpool Echo
