The Guardian are claiming that Manchester United will be ready to offload Robin van Persie at the end of the season in order to make a move for Edinson Cavani.
Although the Uruguayan has scored two less league goals in a lot more games than the Dutchman, reports suggest Louis van Gaal is lining up a £150m overhaul of his squad at the end of the season, with Van Persie being pegged as one of the few to get the boot from Old Trafford.
