In terms of an argument, it's not exactly a great place to begin.
So if you are not a fan of Manchester United, or Liverpool, you can feel free to facepalm right about now.
April 25th 2016 marks almost to the exact date 26 years ago to Liverpool's last English top flight title, which was claimed on April 28th 1990.

However, of more significance, is the fact that the time difference means Liverpool has now gone longer than Manchester United did without winning the English top-flight championship.
It is now 9,494 long and painful days for Liverpool fans which is one more than the 9,493 long and painful days that Manchester United fans went between titles.
It's not a fact that Liverpool fans are likely to be singing from too many rooftops, but Manchester United fans are loving it.
