The German champions have been ripping through the Bundesliga once again this year. After Pep Guardiola guided them to the earliest ever title last season, wrapping the league up in record time by March, Munich are in an even bigger hurry this time around.
They've dropped just six points out of a possible 51 thus far. They've lost none of their 17 league games to date and they've leaked just four goals in that time as well.
Thomas Muller isn't being a gobshite when he criticizes the league. Far from it. In fact, you could probably say that he's bang on the money.
The World Cup-winning attacker came out today and told Sky Sports Germany that it's harder to win in Bayern's training sessions than it is in the Bundesliga. At this rate, none of the other clubs can really argue with him.
"We have a very high level in training," he said. "The defending team is part of FC Bayern, and it is often more difficult to win against our training team now than perhaps against a team in the Bundesliga. The tactical level is identical because, of course, everyone has the same understanding."
You don't have to make excuses, Thomas. They're better just.
